NYC- Tse Cashmere (merchandising)

“TSE CASHMERE – New York, United States

With a persistence of vision, TSE was created with the intention of redefining the use of cashmere and rarefied materials for a luxury brand company. TSE has been the leader in taking a modern approach to cashmere and knitwear. By expanding the possibilities of the fiber and paying close attention to every detail, TSE has become a label for simple luxury.

As it is nature of merchandising that working throughout all stages of collection, intern will achieve overall experience of collection process from the beginning to the end of collections, also experience of working w/ other departments will provide interns view of how each department works and their teamwork.

Interns will be given projects on weekly basis and will have opportunities working at the showroom during market weeks.

• Salesmen sample tracking chart-Create a tracking chart using excel, based on the preliminary buyers line list.
• Sample Coordination- Checking in samples (proto-salesmen samples), steaming garments, organizing for showroom presentation

Intern’s timely manner is very important. Merchandising intern is required to come in and leave TSE office on time. If absence is unavoidable, intern should notify supervisor ahead of time. Proper attire is keen, it is not necessary to wear a business suit, but clean and neat attire is strongly recommended.

TSE will not offer interns wages, stipends and personal expenses as the internship is either a part of course work, or for your own personal experience in the industry.
